Autism Support Coach (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates this website and provides two distinct categories of services:

  1. Parent Coaching / “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) Program – A nationwide educational coaching and support membership for parents and caregivers of neurodiverse children. This is not ABA therapy, not a medical service, and is not covered by insurance.

  2. BCBA-Led ABA Therapy & Respite Services – Licensed medical ABA services provided exclusively to residents of Virginia by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine.

This Disclaimer applies to both service categories, with specific terms outlined for each. By accessing our website, programs, or services, you accept and agree to this Disclaimer in full.

1. General Purpose of Information

All content, resources, communications, and guidance provided by Autism Support Coach—whether via our website, coaching program, AMA calls, downloadable materials, email, text, phone, in-person sessions, telehealth, or group platforms—are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

They are not a substitute for individualized professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a licensed healthcare provider who has examined you or your child in person.

2. Parent Coaching / AMA Program Disclaimer (Nationwide)

The AMA Program is an educational coaching service designed to provide parents and caregivers with general behavior strategies, skill-building ideas, and problem-solving guidance.

  • Not ABA Therapy: This program is not Applied Behavior Analysis therapy, is not regulated by state licensing boards, and does not constitute a medical service.

  • No Diagnosis or Treatment Plan: We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe interventions, or create individualized treatment plans under this service.

  • Not HIPAA-Covered: This service is not subject to HIPAA regulations, although we still protect your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Implementation Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you choose to apply any strategies discussed.

  • No Emergency Services: This program is not a crisis line or emergency service. If you are experiencing a crisis, call 911 or the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.

3. ABA Therapy & BCBA-Led Respite Disclaimer (Virginia Only)

Licensed ABA therapy and BCBA-led respite services are regulated by the Virginia Board of Medicine and provided only to residents of Virginia.

  • Medical Nature of Service: ABA therapy is considered a medically necessary service for eligible clients.

  • Licensure & Compliance: Delivered exclusively by a BCBA/LBA in compliance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s Ethics Code and Virginia regulations.

  • HIPAA-Covered: ABA therapy services are HIPAA-covered activities. All Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded in compliance with federal and state laws.

  • Insurance & Private Pay: ABA therapy may be covered by insurance or offered on a private-pay basis. Coverage and authorizations must be verified prior to service delivery.

  • Intake & Treatment Plan Required: Services begin only after an intake process, assessment, and treatment plan approval.

4. HIPAA Applicability

  • Applies To: ABA therapy & BCBA-led respite services for Virginia clients under a signed service agreement.

  • Does Not Apply To: Parent Coaching / AMA program members nationwide. While we maintain strict privacy practices, these coaching services are not HIPAA-covered and may use non-HIPAA platforms (e.g., Facebook Groups, Slack, Zoom, Circle, Voxer).

5. No Guarantee of Results

We make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, results, or timeframes for either service type. Results vary based on individual factors outside our control.

6. Testimonials & Endorsements

Testimonials on our site or marketing materials represent the experiences of actual clients or participants, but results vary. They are not intended to guarantee or promise that anyone will achieve the same or similar results.

7. External Links Disclaimer

This website and our programs may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation in our services or use of our website.
